This past weekend we "escaped" to Orlando for a very relaxing getaway. We checked into an Embassy Suites (very pretty)
and then proceeded to decide what we would like to do next. The boys choose Wonder Works-where Connor laid on a bed of nails!! (which they LOVED!!)
and we girls opted for shopping (natch') we strolled through all of our fav haunts picking and choosing "must haves".
After that exhausting (lol!!) workout we met back at the hotel for the Manager's Reception = Cocktail Hour!! A few G&T's later it was off to dinner, seafood was the choice du jour. Joe's Crab Shack was our determined destination!
As usual Joe's did not disappoint!! Lobster,Crab,Shrimp,Scallops, and more..... much more!! LOL!! We discussed further plans and decided on an evening dip in the pool and jacuzzi
then off to the land of nod. Breakfast was next on our todo list and it was wonderful. Omelets made to order, pancakes, Belgium waffles, breakfast meats, every type of pastry one could imagine and of course endless coffee, tea, and O.J.
Next up was our intended destination of Sea World!! What can I say about Sea World that has not already been said? It was magical!! We lunched with Sharks (this restaurant is AMAZING) we pet Sting Rays & Dolphins (which Connor was so excited to do he "almost cried") we fed Dolphins, Sting Rays, & SHARKS!! Visited with Turtles, Polar Bears, Walruses, Beluga Whales, Sea Lions, etc. and what day at Sea World would be complete without a Shamu encounter!! We wrapped this perfect weekend escape with a touch more shopping (I simply could not pass up the beautiful Sea inspired jewelry line) then a quick stop at WaWa (yes, you read that correctly- WaWa)
they have the most amazing made to order Hoagies (subs, heros, whatever you like to call them) if you have not experienced this phenomenon I suggest you locate a WaWa and delve into this delicacy! I hope your weekend was as "magical" and wonderful as ours!! TTYL <3
Pic looks like I have a nasty sunburn but thankfully its just a weird lighting angle, no sunburns
Lunching with the sharks in the deep blue sea.
